This assemblage centers on a Rörstrand Swedish hard-paste porcelain plate bearing a maritime illustration dated 1700, framed by an intentional arrangement of coral, shell, and driftwood.

Referencing early cabinets of curiosity, the work explores the dialogue between navigation and nature, refinement and erosion. The restrained palette and tactile materials lend the piece a contemplative, mid-century sensibility—reading as both artifact and artwork.

The contrast between refined porcelain and organic materials creates a balanced, sculptural composition that feels collected, nautical, and timeless.
